Stage one
It takes the cab's own air.

A flat duct carries it up.
40 by 15 mm, out the back, down behind the seat, with a service loop long enough for the full travel of an air suspension seat.

A thermoelectric core chills it.
This is the part a ventilated cushion does not have. The air leaves colder and drier than it arrived, and the heat it gave up exits the opposite face so it is never re-breathed.
Stage four
It arrives where you sit.
Spread evenly through a diffuser, then out through open mesh at the skin, where it carries heat away and lets sweat finally evaporate.
Why this exists
At 2am the cab is still 30 degrees.
You shut the engine off because idling all night burns fuel, and in a lot of places it is against the law. The air conditioning goes off with it. The bunk holds the whole day's heat, so you lie on top of the sheets with a clip fan pointed at your chest, moving the same hot air around. Then you get up and drive eleven hours on whatever sleep you managed.

The problem with every other cushion
A fan does not make air cold.
A ventilated cushion moves the air that is already in your cab across your back. If the cab is 32 degrees, it is blowing 32 degree air at you. It moves the heat around. It never removes any.
Why air, and not a cold plate

A chilled plate under foam. Foam is an insulator, so almost nothing gets through.

Chilled air at the skin, plus the sweat it evaporates. The only mechanism that can take skin below air temperature.
Engine off
0.8 amps.
Eco mode draws about ten watts, roughly a couple of LED dome lights. It runs on 12 V without the engine, which is the entire reason it exists. Maximum is 5.4 A for pulling a hot cab down fast, not for leaving on all night.
Fitting it
One strap and a 12 V socket.
The module straps to the frame under the seat and the cushion sits on top of it. No drilling, no brackets, no splicing into the loom, nothing cut. It comes out as cleanly as it went in, which matters if the truck is not yours.
